Rape

That had been stolen from me
How he took it all away
And left me here to bleed
The pain endured was nothing
Compared to the hurt inside
When he robbed me of my innocence
He stole away my pride
I felt so unable
Too impaired to fight
He had his way and left
In hopes that I would die
I'm haunted by the feelings
The images still burn
No one knows and no one will
That's one lesson I have learned
Normality is beyond reach
I'm just an empty shell
That night that he held me down
He made my life a living hell
He tore a hole in my soul
And ripped me all apart
The night he made me unclean
And raped me in the dark |
