» Poem: Fallen
Fallen
written by Poison Ivy
04:00 AM 9/18/04
The night falls with a silent sigh.
Cold and alone, we have grown to be
The salvation for which you sacrifice yourself,
Flares once, then dies.
Devoured by your obsession.
All hope must endure.
Your soul thrives for life,
But no more.
How could you not understand?
I hear the angels around us, crying,
"We have failed you"
