Just...words...

I dealt with it forever,
grown to be more clever,
to realize and know better,
than to say never.
For it always shoots back
from the one thing I lack.
No, I'm not vain,
but, my sanity's sane.
Don't you just crave
to tread the road I pave?
Doesn't it seem fun
to always wanna be number 1?
To do everything I've done?
To dream of what could be
if I revealed my identity?
However,
I won't make that mistake,
to be superficial and fake,
how much more can I take?
How many rules can one break?
For now, curtains close.

This is about just a bunch of ideas and thoughts I was feeling at the time, but now that I look back and actually try to understand it, it all makes sense.

| again, love it. you have a nice way of putting what you write together, and making it flow. I hate poems that are so jagged, but yours flow and come together nicely. congrats. |
