As I Lie Here..

my world crumbles within,
every second is another chance,
an oppurtunity to win.
Yet, there's always a disadvantage,
something stops us in our tracks,
and we're unable to recapture it,
a broken dream we won't get back.
So as I lie here speechless,
every star up in the sky,
represents the pain I feel,
the ocean howls my every cry,
and the girl inside breaks down,
it's becoming too much to handle,
the light inside burns out,
slowly, dies her candle.
And I reminise on every moment given
to be somewhere today,
every ounce of pride
I continuously threw away.
So now my past life haunts me,
everyday of which I wake,
and it all gets much more difficult
with every step I take.
This journey I tend to tread
is paved with all my fears,
and as I lie here,
I release it all,
drowning within my fears. |

This is about another time when I went through a really difficult time dealing with alot of different issues, and its really hard, I'll admit that, but I'm living proof that within time, you do get past it.
