Soul of Darkness

In this internal hell
My heart yearns
For a new place to dwell
Out of the darkness
Of the soul
Comes the shrill scream
Of a life so cold
The taste of blood
On my lips
Feeling the streams
Hearing the drips
Sweet revenge
Will quickly come
To those who made
My body numb
Thoughts circle
Voices sound
Thin air
Cold ground
Sick and tired
Of the drama
Everyone's life
Is full of trauma
My soul hears
Sweet lullabies
Bringing on
Silent cries
Feel the depth
Of the dark
The coldness gives
My soul its mark
The feelings inside me
Are in us all
But my question is
Will you catch me when I fall? |
