The Nightmare Chamber

Where your monsters say their prayers
Where bloody fragments of these nightmares
Splattered all over these decaying walls
Welcome to the nightmare chamber
This is where the fears coalesce
Where wooden puppets play this game of chess
Where vivid colors turn a sickly hue
Where warm blood mixes with the cool dew
Welcome to the nightmare chamber
Welcome to my asylum
Where I lay underneath my shadow
Where screams mingle with your dreams
Where I find myself nowhere to be found
As the dark angels descend
Waiting Wondering Fearing
Waiting for my hopes to end
Waiting for the banquet to begin
Where I fear my existence will evanesce
Where wooden puppets play this game of chess
Ardent gargoyles descend
The beginning of the end
A silver bullet lodged in my heart
I lie beside
The crimson fountain of inspiration
Like a golem of somebody's nightmares
Like a marionette made of flesh and bones
These hungry angels snap at my soul
The hunger...The prayer...The nightmare
Welcome to the nightmare chamber
Edacious angels
Tear at my flesh
They drink my blood
Pluck at my eyes
Ending my lies
Welcome to the nightmare chamber
Welcome...please feel at home |
