Facing the Rain

with tiny tears of light
i sit in the dark
absorbing the night
my mind wonders off
thoughts leading astray
wish i might
wish i may
chains bind my wrist
so heavy, so dark
pining me down
leaving there mark
i strain against the,
fearing no escape
but there grip grows stronger
only so much i can take
i give up with a sigh
groaning in pain
i give to my prison
facing the rain |
