Dark Halo

Another way to give me an emboldened slap.
No matter where I go or where I choose to stay.
This halo from the darkness ruins every day.
My dreams are never restful and my mind tormented.
Just to walk outside my door is to be circumvented.
Where's the sun above to pierce this suffocation.
When darkness falls without a single indication.
I never seem to let go of this blackened crown.
An unknown leash that always pulls me to the ground.
Who causes this great chaos from within my soul.
Who tears apart my body like a great black hole.
No peace can calm the troubles that are deep within.
These instigations causing me to never win.
How long will my affliction last I do not know.
I've just got to make it through without the fatal blow. |
