And Now You're Gone

Til the day you weren't there
I never thought I'd miss you
I never thought I'd care
I never shed a tear for you
Nor ever cried your name
You were just my friend
I leave my ignorance to blame
I never knew just how it felt
To love and not be loved back
But now I know it's not for me
Love's one thing I don't like to lack
Now that you're gone
It's easy to see
I really do love you
I wish you'd come back to me
But you do not love me
Like I do you
You're happy with another girl
I want to be happy too
If you ever decide
You care for me still
Tell me you love me
And my empty heart will fill
