Prey

Anticipating the time to strike
Oblivious to my presence
My being there is evanescence
She looks around
She hears the noise
Trap is set
I?m ready and poised
She begins to panic
She begins to fear
She begins to sweat
Her time is near
I will take my time
See how she moves
Another tasty treat for me to eat
Her heavy heart beats for me to keep
She runs and runs
Without looking back
She runs and runs
Into the black
She ran and ran
Wanting to flee
She ran, she ran
Right into me |
