Gothic Dreams

So very weary of this malicious race
My flesh crawled with pure revulsion
Simply tired of such a deprived place
A desire nourished my heart and soul
I wanted to be powerful and beautiful
Like in my deepest visions and dreams
To roam the moonlit skies, to be eternal
I tried so many things to renovate myself
The reserved gentleman, the timid recluse
The ?life of the party?, the perfectionist
But it was all pointless, of no apparent use
So I made a decision a few years ago
It was, as I remember, a winter?s night
I stood there gazing through my eyes
And witnessed this magnificent sight
In the faintness of the twilight shadows
I became nauseous from the tingly gush
I tasted the sweet crimson elixir of life
And became woozy, such a magical rush
The fire of hell burnt in my inflamed eyes
An evilness overpowered my mind and body
I couldn't fight the urge, I became helpless
I hungered for a bloody sweet remedy
The power was all mine to do as I wish
I wandered the murky dark skies at night
Consuming my rations within the mortals
Ecstasy filled me when I released my fright
I watched my victims scream with agony
Ending their life, ending all that they adored
My omen and malice infested their souls
Fading into obscurity, breathing no more
The sight of blood, and to taste its scent
Filled my mind with rapture every night
It lead to me to rummage far and wide
To wander the lands, fulfill my appetite
My lust rose higher, the feeling was divine
The taste ? so silky, delectable and sweet
Streaming down my warm bloodied lips
A wonderful bequest, a priceless treat
Centuries passed from one to another
All I desired was my spouse, my princess
To join my powerful realm of darkness
Bonding as one to front hells fortress
But it was not to be, I had been cursed
My bloodshot eyes blistered relentlessly
The light was blinding, dissolving my body
Vanishing me into the chambers of eternity |
