» Poem: Believing what isn't there
Believing what isn't there
written by cryptic_misery
07:00 PM 10/17/04
Lerking around the corners
Hoping I'd see you there
Searching through every single space
I can't find you anywhere
Caught in the abyss of denial
I still think you are here
I'm trying to prove myself right from wrong
Though I'm afraid I cannot my dear
Thinking I will see you
I force myself to look until I find
Even though I already know I can't
and I feel like i've been left behind
I should not think this way
because it is not true
I just wish that you could have stayed
So I can be here with you
