"In Bitter Sleep"

In poisonous sheets of shell, I call this my escape.
I'll wait for years, if not, a century.
To be more than what I am today."
Something obscure becomes my finality, Vague.
Without name, nor number. It will be my light tonight.
Guiding me through this hell of a mess,
Through falsified phantasm of filth, so beautiful.
Through decadent insight of man, that remains my null,
Void in the night, patience beholden for moments of time.....too little for me to oblige.
Too late for me to turn back, this shall be my path to face.
I look back, to rivet in place, what I've done, in dismay.
Dismal moon will be my north star, to follow forever.
I pursue eternity. Oh, the curse of eternity.
So sickening, it becomes my forever.
I will become the least of man, a god, in bitter sleep.
For angel stares cause holiness to weep.
In sanctuary of nothingess, it will become my throne, entombed.
With the dismal moon etched in lime, pointing out my path, forever.
With my heart of black to be revered in eternity, the hideous curse of forever. |
