The rain curtains down, drowning out my tears
Wind blowing them against the window pane
The song of the rain, something nobody hears
It's what over the years has driven me insane
The rain speaks through the wind, and tells me
That life is just a big circle, round and round
The circle is something most people don't see
We all live, love, die, and get buried in the ground
During this cycle, only natural, always the same
The rain says, like its cycle, we have ours
It goes to the ground, then to the sky, without a name
We live and die, it is just a cycle of heavens and stars
Life, to death, sunrise to sunset, dry and rainfall
It is a fate, a circle of no escape, of no end
In the end of our circle part, we can't escape fate's call
And the rain will tell all who have the right ear to lend
The rain calls, hear its story, spread the word
Puddles, rivers, oceans of all the land around
When the rain speaks, don't think it absurd
Just know to this big circle we are always bound |
