» Poem: Child in the Corner
Child in the Corner
written by Emo_Death_Wish

When exactly did I die
And captured this hurricane to ride
When exactly did I let go
When could I no longer say no

So long I've been feeling this blankness
So long I've felt nothing
Too wait in this dank stress
For something I might forget

Why exactly did I fall in (to this hole)
And picked up the pin (to let me be sold)
Why exactly do I care
Why exactly do I feel bare

So long I've been feeling this blankness
So long I've felt nothing
Too wait in this dank stress
For something I might forget

Who exactly let me slip away
And fall into my panicked dismay
Who exactly let me down
Who exactly made me frown

So long I've been feeling this blankness
So long I've felt nothing
Too wait in this dank stress
For something I might forget

I ask for nothing
But not to feel
I ask for not anything
But not to feel
