why do i still love you?

You broke my heart
You made me hurt
You ripped me apart
The day we met
I thought our hearts connected
I would have never guessed
How much I’d be affected
You were just another boyfriend
One that would come and go
But then our relationship changed
Our “love” began to grow
True love? Forever?
These thoughts I began to think of as true
Just as fast as we fell in “love”
The whole thing fell through
If you did all this
Why do I still love you so much?
I long for another kiss
I long for your tender touch
How do I get over you?
Will I ever forget the past?
Will the feelings ever go away?
Or will I hide them behind my mask? |

| That's really sad. It was a really good poem though. I totally wish I could write like you. You know, to like express that emotion like that. I loved it. |

| i know exactly how you feel my ex-girlfriend did the same to me...i would say good poem because it is but i understand how much it hurt
