can be that

Can be that and also our very worst enemy
They vow to stay with us to the very end
But into the future, they cannot see
They hug us and quiet our fears
While secretly telling all out regrets behind our backs
They console us and wipe away our tears
Meanwhile they could be planning another attack
Be careful whom you can trust with your life
Friends can be great but can also be the opposite
They can talk you out of suicide or make you pick up a knife
Be sure to trust the few who are best fit
Friends can be what make you want to live on
Friends can also drive you to end it hurriedly
You’ll never know till one is gone
If that were the only way, I’d hate to see |
