» Poem: I Won't Be Destroyed
I Won't Be Destroyed
written by Morbid Angel

We won't always find the reason,
Nobody is able to explain the seasons,
But we won't let it pull us down,
We'll stand strong, stand our ground,
Filled with knowledge, filled with wisdom,
People stand up to the people who pushed you,
They're just words, they come from the mouth,
You may think them but you need to push them out.

I've got the strength to say you are mine,
I won't be destroyed because I have my own mind,
Stand in a line and sing your song,
Don't lie down for these people,
Only to get walked on.
So follow me, army of millions,
Lift your hands up high if you feel this,
We are strength, we are strong,
You can't hold us down now,
We'll only push on.
