» Poem: Unholy God Tears Me Apart
Unholy God Tears Me Apart
written by Morbid Angel
07:47 PM 11/7/04
I don't listen to what you tell me,
Because my God is unholy,
He told me lies are what you tell me,
And my God is who controls me.

Theres a smile somewhere in my soul,
My God told me not to smile anymore,
He said you'd walk all over me, push me to the floor,
He is the only one who's carry me this far.
My unholy god, tears me apart.

In the mirror I'm torn and filthy,
I see my misery,
My unholy god has made me,
He's the only one who'll save me.

Theres a smile somewhere in my soul,
My God told me not to smile anymore,
He said you'd walk all over me, push me to the floor,
He is the only one who's carry me this far.
My unholy god, tears me apart.

He's in my head,
It's all in my head,
These lies they all lie in my head.
