» Poem: So Cold
So Cold
written by Morbid Angel

A heart full of love,
Turned to hate so fast,
Whoever said,
That you and me would last?
Your eyes they see,
A monster in me,
What is it you hate,
You once said it was fate.
Was it something I said?
Did I make the wrong choice?
Or has it always been dead?
Has it always been like this,
Was it always before my eyes,
I just didn't ever notice?
How can your words turn so cold,
In the space of a few months,
Because you were everything,
The only thing I ever loved.
You haven't even spoke my name,
In so long,
It wouldn't sound the same,
This hate is so wrong.
You're telling me you don't know how to feel,
But isn't it supposed to be your heart that knows whats real?
It's either love or it's not,
I'ts as simple as that,
Maybe you just forgot,
It's no reason for you to turn so cold.
