Envy

If I could shoot fire,
Hell would envy me.
If I controlled desire,
Wives would envy me.
If I manipulated time,
History would envy me.
If I did commit a crime,
Vandals would envy me.
If I were so smart,
You would envy me.
If I could mend a heart,
Doctors would envy me.
If I could soar the skies,
Birds would envy me.
If I was really wise,
Monks would envy me.
If I had your girl,
You would envy me.
If air I could make twirl,
Tornadoes would envy me.
If I could read a mind,
Many would envy me.
If I could save mankind,
Someone would envy me.
If I need not breathe air,
A person would now envy me.
If I never had a scare,
Some kids would envy me.

None of those things I do.
So why do you envy me?
Since none of that is true,
Please don?t ever envy me.
