» Poem: Read between the lines
Read between the lines
written by IceBound
11:36 PM 11/17/04
in empty space i twist and soar
come down with a roar of thunder to the ocean
a touch of my body
i shatter all worlds
once again
drawn pure water from the fire
yet my heart cannot touch
drop of water freeze instantly
all changes at a blow
springs of water flowing from the fire
pull you back
hold my picture of you
cross the lnie
made my choice
smoke rising, filling the air
hard to breathe
a tune of non being filling the void
i slice through it in aimless flight
Inhale
moon reflected in the water
Exhale
what, then, is it all?
Foward
to depart while seated or standing is all one
Back
all i shall leave behind
Living
empty handed i entered this world
Dying
barefoot i leave it
can you see?
what is it's meaning?
Life
the source of my happiness
the love of mine

you will see my painful cycle bound to me
in every relationship i've ever had...
i just hope to god i stop it here and now...
before i go to far
