» Poem: Burns II
Burns II
written by DarkAngelBlood

My soul so deep inside
If only your eyes could see this
Only you
It wouldn't matter to anybody else
Why is it so real when you cry, I feel it?
Why is it so real when nobody can understand you, they can all say sorry and never feel it?
You ask me if I'm okay and what's wrong
I can't even tell you why
You'd think I'm crazy
I will never understand
So forget what I say
It's only another day I live
The words I never convey
The words unspoken
Nobody wants to hear them
It will scare them
With their eyes, they'll never see
I'm perfect on the inside and so pure
But I'm a little burnt around the edges on the outside
I'm looking around
We exchange smiles, then drop to a frown
The usual
Never happy
For some brief moment, then it's gone
I guess we all get burned
