» Poem: Christmas Without You
Christmas Without You
written by lost_and_forgotten
11:33 PM 11/21/04
I wake in the morning
At fifteen past four
I put on my slippers
And rush to the door

Flying down the stairs
I peek out the window
To see stars in the sky
And on the ground, snow

I pick up the phone
To hear your sweet voice
And to tell you "Hey Sweetie
it's Christmas, rejoyce!"

But you do not answer
So I try again
It rings and it rings
But nothing more then

I sit in my chair
And watch the snow fall
This won't be a merry
Christmas after all
