» Poem: My Vampire Tragedy (II)
My Vampire Tragedy (II)
written by KaoticKitty87
09:09 PM 11/22/04
As I walked through the dark forest
I heard the birds singing, the wolf howl, the trees weeping
My black robe grazed the ground
my dagger gleamed in the light of the moon
I walked solemnly for hours until I reached the brook
I stepped into the water and held the dagger above my chest
shaking I drew my last breath
and then he came
he encircled me in his arms
all despair washed away
and then he was gone
the dagger dropped from my grasp and I wept
I fell to my knees and mourned the love I could not have
destiny is so cruel
