Deeper Down
written by DarkAngelBlood05:39 PM 6/11/04I always kept it all inside.
Then it grew and I made you.
I knew I should have never tried.
I sat in the grass and watched the water flowing slowly.
Sitting there alone, was I supposed to feel lonely?
I threw mini pine cones into the water out of frustration.
I was looking for peace of mind and lacking concentration.
I sat there til the sun went down behind the clouds.
I could've sat there until it came up again and write in here that I see now.
But I don't, I can only see the moon, from the darkness in my room.
Through the blinds I peer, through the binds I steer.
I wonder if my view is completely clear, or if there's a cluster of stars right around here.
(Suddenly you appear)
I point them out so you can see,
But I'm really guiding your eyes to look at me. |
