» Poem: Bleeding to Stay Alive
Bleeding to Stay Alive
written by cryptic_misery
04:33 PM 11/29/04
Soft as a wilted flower she cries
Every last tear drop to fall from her eyes
Inside she dies from the knife in her heart
Sinning, new beginning, her new horrid start
At dark she lay still, till screams make her run
When a nightmare is over a new one's begun
How is it over when the world hasn't ended
You can't stay alive and not bleed to stay mended
The cuts on her body may heal over time
But she can't stay perfect, her wounds have become mine
When the bleeding stops they turn into scar
And with each one red cut, the skies lose a star
So healing in time, will cause more to refrain
And every loved person has hate they contain
