Me

Yet you haven't altered yourself
I'm known for being a changling
Changing the subject too quick, changing eye colors, changing what you believed me to be
You thought you understood me
But oh how your perception of me was unclear
I led you down unmarked paths
I led you on some dead ends
I steered you the wrong way
Maybe you'd lose sight of me
I'll give you the detour and I'll go a different way
I just don't want to hurt you
I don't want to decieve you and make you think I lie
I just want to get out of here
If it's any consolation to you
Just let me go and I'll be fine |
