Winds of Change

I feel the winds of change flow by
Chasing love like butterflies
Beautiful treasures, gone too fast
Two got away; they say three's the best
Perhaps, this time, this one will last
Summer breezes are stirring again,
Playfully tugging at my paper and pen
"If you're lonely, come and play, then!"
Oh, but for my feign reluctancy
Of repeating the past, I'd run with thee,
Wind-swept to blue eyes, lovely and free
Winds of change, blow your azure streams
Only your hue can quench burning dreams
Blue eyes, flame in the heart of me |

May 29th, 2004. I love how this can be interpreted in more than one way. ^_^ I don't mind which way you see it; even I see it as having at least a dual quality. On the most mundane level, it's actually about a person I'm falling in love with, despite my best efforts to keep myself from getting back-fired on again. *sigh*
