» Poem: Death Comes
Death Comes
written by KaoticKitty87

What do you do when you can see
death before your eyes
do you run away
or sit and wait utterly paralyzed
what do you do when you can hear
death creeping close
do you fight the sounds
or sit aground waiting to be exposed
what do you do when you can feel
death touching your face
do you sit and pray
or wait silently for death to cover you in a shroud of lace
what do you do when you can smell
the foul stench of death
do you cover your face
or sit and write your epitaph
what do you do when you can taste
the most abhorred fate
do you choke and cough
or laugh it off with the utmost hate
