» Poem: Banshees
Banshees

In the night you hear their shrieks
death and death and death they seek
they never slow, they never falter
shrieks of death, laughing louder
death to all
even those without fault
malice and malcontent
psychotic and hell bent
they use your fears
to scare you to tears
they devour your might
with much spite
they make you feel desperate, weak
overcome and totally meak
their shrieks will pierce your very soul
even now as this tale is told
here they come get ready
try and keep your heartbeat steady
now as your life flashes before your eyes
be brave and try not to cry
dont be foolish, there is no hope
now your heart will stop as you begin to choke
they are coming closer still
you can feel the air start to chill
already your soul begins to rise
right before you cold blue eyes
you will hear the shrieks for all eternity
fear them not, for it brings them glee
