It's a wonderful life
written by IceBound04:03 PM 12/9/04I learned yet another thing today
from a movie, no less
i try to pass this knowledge along
hoping that maybe someone else could benefit
some listen, and other reject
and i don't blame them, nothing's that easy
at lease in their eyes
people say i take life to seriously
like how can one little thing
end up changing something greater?
what, i don't have an answer for
they wonder why i always ask 'what if?'
what if i never stayed after school that day?
what if she never thought i looked at her legs? lol
what if i wasn't there to type up her ROTC paper?
what if i never felt that special something
as she lay her head on my shoulder?
"No man is a failure who has friends"
a quote from a movie taken in a different view
but now is not the time to ask what if
it's time to understand that things happend the way they did
and i have no regrets |
