His Victim
written by KaoticKitty8705:15 AM 12/12/04I was walking late one night
looking for death, no one in sight
my name was whispered, then silence
I turned around slightly frightened
I saw a shadow, then gleaming eyes
my brain screamed "run, be wise"
he grabbed my arms and pulled me near
then a biting pain that started to sear
he let me go, unscathed
for a moment, I thought I had been saved
he said he would return one year from now
he said he would return, this he vowed
one year later, he did return
I felt that old pain start to burn
I fell in his arms, locked in lust
in him I placed all my trust
he kissed my neck then sunk his teeth
love he sought, death I seek
he held me tight as he withdrew
all my blood and memories I knew
he held me tight as my heartbeat slowed
he said he would never let me go
he tried to turn me but it was too late
I died in his arms, lost to fate |

At first I was like, Anne Rice or what? But the end was completely opposite of what I expected. Great stuff! |
