» Poem: Torn to pieces
Torn to pieces
written by The grey raven
09:12 PM 12/21/04
Standing looking in the mirror
Reflection staring back at me
Jaw dropped and horrified
At the image that I see
How can anyone on the earth
Love such an ugly being?
Seeing is believing
Now I know the meaning
Fists torn into pieces
By the glittering shards
Tears drip from my eyes
Even looking at myself is hard
Blood runs over my knuckles
The wounds start to sting
How can I leave the house
When I look like this hideous thing?

I know exactly how you feel. Everytime i look into the mirror i wonder how people can look me in those hideous eyes and tell me that i'm beautiful...but somehow my boyfriend Zack does it. So look out all you supposed Ugly Ducklings...theres always a chance that you could be a Swan.
