» Poem: Tortured world
Tortured world
written by XpaperdollX
03:14 AM 12/26/04
Force this smile upon her face,
Perfect and untouched,
“Oh how we love you, your so pretty”
Discontentment lurks inside herself,
Lies burn beneath her smile,
Razor meets at the tip of fresh skin,
Images nailing inside her head,
Reaping themselves over and over,
Popularity crowds at her door,
A world witch they don’t see,
Words of the wicked slip from her lips,
Alone she screams,
Her only friend lives inside her head,
Demons claw at her spirit,
Nothing is left,
Just this other world,
Where nothing is wrong,
Slowly its pushing her down.
