unwanted dreams

stream from my
lonely heart
forming tears
at the base of
my already saddened eyes.
they haunt me
day and night
and i will
never forget the
harshness
of the words
that were said.
i want nothing more
than to have
a dream
that doesn't leave me
in tears.
yet i still have
all these
unwanted dreams
that will not,
and cannot
ever go away |
