look into my eyes (plz read)

look deep
and tell me,
is there anything there?
or am i
as hollow and empty
as i feel?
is there a soul
behind these lonely eyes?
please tell me
what it is you see,
i need to know
why it is you love me.
do you know
me at all?
i forget,
i'm slowly losing
all my will to go on.
do you still see
something in my eyes?
am i broken?
i need to know,
an answer,
something solid to rely on.
is there anything inside of me? |

| i know this probably won't mean anything to you and it's pathetic (sorry), but you're special. don't be sad, that's like one of the reasons i was so depressed, because you always are. i love you, and other people care about you too, no matter what you think. don't be sad; don't do anything to yourself. : ( |
