For You and You Only

I hold your hand in mine,
and I feel as though I could stay with you for the end of time.
I feel your lips on mine,
and its then I know your the only one for me,
the only one worthy,
to keep my heart..
I have no doubt that your my perfect someone,
the key to my being,
the reason I keep on believing that there is always a happy ending to every fairytale.
I could say I loved you a thousand times twice over,
and it still wouldn't be enough to measure,
how much I love you,
how much I need you and that need grows more with each passing day.
You were there for me from the start,
you gave me everything from the bottom of your heart.
I have cried a thousand tears waiting for the day we can be together again,
and I'll cry a thousand more even if it takes an eternity to feel your arms around me once more.
I can honestly say,
with every ounce of my heart,
that I will love you until the end of time,
until dawn is night,
and the night is day...
The end of time is not to long to wait,
when your the one I'm waiting for. |
