Layers of Untruthful Skin

Watch this heart beat so vain
Look at the blood that surrounds me
The ice cold flesh around me
My skin tells my lies
Things deep within my eyes
That you can never see
Because I'm fighting to part from me
Scars from the past still won't go away
Not even to the happiest day
Catch my desolate soul
Plant the seed of a deep black hole
Watch me drown within
In these layers of untruthful skin |
