Jen's Poetry (3 poems)

She didnt title anything

I'll admit from time to time I do
submit to crying in my room
sheding tears
for all my fears
wallowing in my gloom
begging the unknown why
dreading the known reply
swallowing the unwanted truth
and always requiring proof
so why do I torment myself like this
because unhappiness is my personal gift

this one she wrote for me

she seems quiet tempered
so quiet and meek
so she would seem if she should never speak
yet to some suprise, she catches one's eyes
as she stares at nothing, as though she is blind
but dont be mistaken, she has been known to amaze
if only you knew what could be seen in her gaze
she knows alot more than you would think
she knows that if you looked through her eyes, you would sink
she knows she holds power
that only she controls
it is she whom you future molds
so make a good impression and walk away
and she might let you live another day

staring blankly into equally blank eyes
the only difference, one set is dead while the other is alive
neither body moving, neither feels pain
one is dead, the other insane
then the woman stands up and runs her fingers through her blood colored hair
she bows her head, closes her eyes
as she offers a prayer to the mother of lies
a sudden dark shadow smothers the room
she opens her eyes and stares at her groom
he silently judges her and tilts his head
gave her a smile and slowly said
"you have proved me wrong, you work with great skill
congratulations on your first kill"
