I can't hate you

But that's a lie.
I say I love you,
Everytime I cry.
I wish you could see the state I'm in.
I wish you could see how I faced things then.
I can't get you erased.
I can't get you replaced.
Another friend here and there,
It's just not the same.
Cause life's not fair,
The end is my beginning of shame.
Days go by,
Don't think you're not in my mind.
The clouds roll in and the rain falls,
The sun shines in the sky tall.
And I still miss you.
I cry myself to sleep sometimes,
I pull the covers over my head.
I cry myself awake sometimes,
I'm living now, but I wish were dead.
The torture that I go through,
Just to get to you.
And I always fail,
I'm so shallowly frail.
Do you ever wonder how I am?
I wonder how you are,
If you'd have taken my hand,
We could've gone far.
She told you to choose,
You chose her; I lose.
You had a choice,
You didn't listen to that little voice.
And I still miss you. |

Basically in this poem, the world goes on, but the person in the poem doesn't. The person is still stuck on that one day in time and the time that has passed. It's like they can't move on until the other person knows how they feel.

| wow, this is deep for me anyway....but kinda different. See my man i need to say all of the stuff you said but he keeps leaving me before i can. Thanks to u i have the courage to tell him...thx. |
