Nothing but a memory (poem)

Show me a life to be found
Send me a smile from your soul
Fill this growing empty hole
Watch my hope start to tear
Hiding from you lost and scared
Dump into this head... a memory
But not of you it's plain to see
For you are gone without a whisper
My heart is a burn
My soul is a blister
What have we become to be?
Nothing but a memory |
