Pain in your eyes

You tell me I am your only...
I don't know quite how I feel towards you...
Seeing the pain in your eyes drew me to you
It made me want to take the pain away
But I can't...
There is nothing I can do
It seems you think that I will solve your problems and make you smile again
But I can't even solve my own problems...
I love you... Really, I do...
But I don't think I want to be with you...
The situation we are in
Was ok when it began
But now it looks grim...
I know I cannot bring your mom back...
I also know that I could never help with the pain you are going through...
It's so hard to say all this because I love you with all of my heart but I can't be with you...
You are too far away, you are in too much stuff right now...
Your my friend...
And I can't even tell you this because it would hurt you too much...
I want to heal your pain, not make it worse...
But it seems like I can't do either... |
