» Poem: murder and suicide.
murder and suicide.
written by bloodlyvalentine
10:17 PM 1/26/05
the knife lies on the table,
it stares at you,
calls to you.
you hear its deadly song...
only for you.
and you reach out
with your shaking hand
to touch that hilt.
how many times have you felt
that metal on your skin?
how many times has your own hand
come down on you with that knife.

no more.

you take the knife,
your only friend.
the only thing you trust,
and walk slowly to his room,
as he lays asleep.
he looks so peaceful,
almost...
beautiful,
but you know to well what lies beneath,
you know to well what he'll do
if you dont do it now.
you lift the knife above your head....

the world is silent.

as he takes his last breathe,
his eyes staring up at you.
convicting.

taking back the knife,
it is black with sin,
soaked with blood.
and you stab,
over, and over agian.
over and over,
his dead body becoming rags
and tears flow from your cheeks,
a river of bloody tears
for what he did to you.
no more.
he cant hurt you anymore.

you sit in the corner,
in a bloody pool,
despair,
you realize he'll will never die.
he still lives on inside you.
tormenting you
with his words,
his memories
killing you.
there is no escaping.
never.

and once again,
you feel the warm metal against your skin,
that feeling you love
and yet you hate,
and the blood rises up,
and it all ends,
your pain,
your life,
the guilt that eats away at you
from the inside it.
its all gone,
and your your safe
as you stare out what you have done,
crimson murder.
and suicide.

Creepy, depressing, morbid, the makings of a great poem. Thumbs up.
