turkey
written by omegadrax01:17 PM 7/6/04i watched your lips moving
and heard not a sound
a little fleck of spittle
nearly caught me in the face
why are you standing so close?
doesn't it hurt when you
stomp your foot like that?
i try hard to stiffle a
little laugh.
you look like a turkey.
gobble. gobble. gobble.
hey... that last comment
wasn't very nice.
do you kiss your children
with that mouth?
what are you saying?
and no, i won't wipe that
stupid grin off my face.
gobble. gobble.
we disagree. so what.
people disagree all the time.
you might as well stop yelling
because all i hear is
gobble, gobble.
man...thinking about turkeys
is making me hungry.
mmmm...
turkey sandwich
turkey salad
turkey with white sauce
i wonder what wine goes
with turkey.
i wonder's what's for dinner.
i wonder if sex is out of the question.
if i want to have sex, i will have
to end this and fast.
"sweetheart, i am so sorry.
i don't know what is wrong with me.
things have been a little hectic at work
and i guess i have just been taking it out
on you. is there anything i can do to make
it up to you? back massage? foot massage?
hey...let's go out for dinner. my treat.
i am in the mood for turkey."
gobble. gobble. |

hehe this poem is quite amusing, but the real point is evident, that your just not listening, great way to express this. |
