She’s Not Anyone; She’s the One
written by mattwhatever01:21 PM 1/28/05I know her so well
My heart starts to swell
When she’s not there its hell
We were the closest friends
One of those friendships that never ends
It’s so hard to comprehend
We talk we kiss
For those moments it’s bliss
When she’s not there, It’s her insatiable soul
I miss
But there’s something there
Deep down inside I’m scared
I’m not shore why now she cares?
She hurt me, broke my heart
We’d go in circles back to the start
I don’t understand, I’m not that smart
Why now has it changed?
How has her heart ranged?
I feel lost, estranged
Reluctant to trust
My soul’s begun to rust
But to be with her that’s a must! |

I love your poem. I feel the same way about me and my bf. He promises he won't hurt me but I've been hurt so many times before. It's like I'd throw away the most beautiful thing that could work, instead of taking the chances of, once again, getting hurt. Great poem. Keep it up. |
