» Poem: Finding the light
Finding the light
written by KaoticKitty87

Im sitting here again dredging up my past
wondering silently if there will be repast
I wonder if this pain will abate
or if I will be crushed under its weight
for me there is no refulgence, there in no light
fleeing from my memories, but they catch up every night
the desire for suicide deepens as I stand at the shore
my soul is shattered to the core
I want to let go, I pull at the chains
I want to drown I want to hang
I want to leave this world behind and its misery
but ultimately I want someone to hold me
being alone is more than I can bear
I hate being alone, left with my despair
I want someone to tell me it will be ok
that life will get better one day
I want someone to make me see the light that I know is there
I want someone to finally be aware
I want someone that wont toss me aside
I want someone in whom I can confide
I want someone that I can give my heart to
instead of it being stolen and ripped in two
