Someone To Be There

Never loved.
Wanting to be,
Someone to somebody.
A friend to have,
To tell all my secretes.
Someone to hold,
When everything breaks.
A shoulder to cry on,
When life gets me down.
Someone to help me,
After I hurt myself.
Someone to tell me,
Everything will be ok.
A person who’ll help me,
After I’ve been knocked out.
Someone who’s been through,
Something that I have.
Being promised,
That everything will be ok.
To be told that I’m loved,
To know that someone cares.
But I guess I may never know,
What it’s like to have someone there.
I am forever waiting,
For this person to come and save me. |
