Deadly Kiss

as he pulls me into a loving embrace
he looks into my fear-filled eyes
beguiling me with his precious lies
telling me it will be ok
and that we will be together forever one day
he tells me tis as he kisses my neck
and Im struggling to take a single breath
my heartbeat is sporadic and slow
for all my blood has flowed
out of my body and into his
it happened because I longed to give him a kiss
he bid me trust him and this I did
now I have a death-like tremble to my lips
I cannot move, I cannot speak
Im at his command, though I am weak
he tells me he loves me one last time
before his blood becomes mine
I will never forget this fateful night
when I was taken from the light |
