» Poem: Now that you're gone |
Now that you're gone
written by Misery09:41 PM 7/13/04you took your own life
not by a knife
you put a bullet in your brain
now every event will be the same
if I sit in denial and don't believe you're gone
I may just make it to another dawn
see you'll never be there by my side
you won't be there to challenge my mind
you won't take another ride
hell you didn't even say good-bye
but see I'm not mad
on one hand your suffering and pain has ended so in a way I'm somewhat glad
but you'll never be there again
you won't be there to help me when I've gone passed the bend
you won't be there to wear your leather coat
you won't be there so tell me another joke
you won't add anymore to your collection
you won't be there to hear anymore of our crazy inventions
but maybe it's for the better, now you're at rest
you were one of the best
Rest in Peace Doug W. |
